On the other hand, the more expensive ones which use a better quality bushing and flex joint only need the bushing replaced every 3-5 years, and the flex joint about the same. Let's imagine the cheaper arms need the bushings and flex joints replaced and/or rebuilt every year, at an industry average of $15 a bushing and $25 for the flex joint internals. For arguments' sake, let's assume each set of arms has one bushing on each control arm, and one flex joint per lower arm (since the upper arms have the bushing on the axle).
